Pre-construction Support

During new construction, the soil engineer can determine that the soil is unable to bear the required loads.  Often the solution is to remove and replace the existing soil.  Another solution that we can offer is to install preconstruction helical piers or to strengthen the soil with grout injection.  These can be much more economical than post construction piers.  The various costs can be compared to determine the best alternative for each individual project.

Often this can be used as insurance against future settlement in situations of poor soils, backfill, or near anticipated excavation, particularly if the home or structure would present difficult circumstances for the users if there were settlement.
